Conley came out on top of an entertaining battle on Saturday evening, August 19 to claim his sixth career 'Fred Dillow Memorial' title at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! R.J. timed in fifth quickest overall during Super Late Model qualifying prior to running third in the fast dash. R.J. then took the point from early race leader Scott James and led the majority of the 'Fred Dillow Memorial' on his way to capturing the $5,000 winner's check over Jackie Boggs, Steve Casebolt, Shannon Thornsberry, and Brandon Fouts. Rod Conley worked his way past five competitors during the unsanctioned feature to finish in the sixth position, while Hall of Famer Delmas Conley passed nine racecars en route to a solid ninth place showing at PRP.

R.J. stopped the clock fourth quickest in time trials and won the fast dash to earn the pole position for the $3,500 to win special. After leading early in the distance and swapping the top spot with eventual winner Jason Jameson, R.J. settled for a strong runner-up effort.
