Tri-City Speedway, Pontoon Beach, IL. will be adding Racecievers to the UMP Late Model Class for the 2011 season.

These will be mandatory starting with our season opener on April 8th.

All Late Model drivers need to be prepared to make the transition as smooth as possible!

They will be available at the track for purchase.

Our frequency will be 454.000, this is the default frequency they are sent with.

For more information give us a call: 636-448-9111

Thanks, Kevin

What is this going to cost. We were planning to run there alot more this year, but not full time. Will it be like the transponders where we return them after the race? Thanks

Jimmy,

The $99 model is a lapciever which is a lap timer. The Raceciever is $104.95 without earbuds and $129 with earbuds.

They will be available at TCS for $110.00 complete!

We also are looking into doing this in a couple of our other classes later in the year.

Thanks, Kevin

My mistake.. Their website couldn't be anymore awkward to find what your looking for.

that is cheap. i have used them 3 times at brownstown in this year, i rented mine the first time for a $25 fee, and i got lucky i guy i knew paid the $100 down payment for me, but after that i just bought it for $125. I like them, a little bit of cash to start off with but it is okay. i actually listended to them a lot out there at Brownstown during the Jackson 100 to hear them talking to the lucas oil late model guys, it was amusing

Get ya some comfortable ear buds the ones that come with it are not,Wally world has some Jelly ones for $10

I used them at malden last year. They were a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. Good move Kevin, should help move things along a little quicker. Plus yall can make some money on selling them and renting them.

They work great and can save your butt. I found out early on to never turn the volume much past 1/4 way and only use one ear bud.
