I use to go to the races every Friday night as a child, a teenager and into my early 20's. During which time I got the privilege of watching Dean Hoffman, Bobby Bittle, Roger Stryker, Tom Ratacyzck, Jeff Johns etc race. I don't make it to the races as often anymore, but it sure is a pleasure to watch the tradition being carried on by their talented sons, Zach Hoffman, Travis Bittle, Brendan Bittle, Tyler Ratacyzck, Jarrett Stryker and Andrew Johns as I did last night at Belle Vegas. These boys are all great drivers. I wish them all the best of luck and plan on getting to Belle Vegas a few more times this summer to watch and cheer on these young men and their Dads if they are racing.

Thanks for the nice comments. I couldnt be more proud of how Jarrett is growing up. Its been great having him race. He is developing super fast. Its nice hearing from people who were around when I raced. It is great seeing the names Ratajczyk, Bittle , Hoffman as well as Stryker continue to race. Thanks again Roger

There are several other 2nd generation drivers up there. Dustin McClintock is the son of Marc McClintock. The driver they call Wahoo is the son of Larry Jones and is also my brother. Not sure of how many 2nd or 3rd generation drivers there are at Bell-Clair or how many father son combos there are, would make for an interesting article tho.
