And contrary to popular belief, I'm not a typical lefty. However, I am not a right wing ideological conservative lunatic either. I'm even farther from being a tree hugger. I would describe myself as walking a few paces west of the centerline sounds like someone running for office
 
I didnt mean to throw this post a curve. Just put some info out there questioning why gas is even this high.....bad economy..........gas use is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down. But to each there own. Good luck this year to everyone. Hope everyone can find $$$'s to go see some races and support their local tracks.

Teabagger IS a response made mostly by lefty, MSNBC types. The rest of my rant was about the waste of our tax dollars. As for Sarah Palin, I am not a fan. Nor am I a fan of either party. I believe the two party system is a big reason this country is so divided. It would be easy to let ones self get drawn into a name calling fest with people of lesser intelligence, but I refuse. If we drill our own oil, it is Americans that get the jobs to do so. Lets stop tearing each other down and our country apart and work together to make this country great again. Heres what I would like to see. How about a fuel tax holiday, for a certain amount of time. Couple that with a freeze on the price to keep the oil companies at bay. Would that not stimulate the economy better than the tax dollars that were thrown away to special interests by both parties? Instead of name calling and quoting your favorite news sources, why don't we show how smart the average worker is and debate the problems and solutions. Perhaps we the people can take the lead and show the politicians how it is done!

Well I am lucky when I fill my race car up with 93 octane on friday i can race 2 nights without filling up. Also, with the tracks i race at being 2 and 3 hours away, I leave my car at my buddies house that lives within 5 miles of the first track so that way im saving on truck gas. I wont be able to run any special shows and probably will end up only racing once a week of gas gets outrageous.

Can we have a sensible debate about the subject at hand??? I don't want this site ruined because of political rants, like has happened to 4m.net. The Chinese and the Middle East are the puppeteers and we are just pawns in the chess game, since Wall Street and the Big Banks helped cripple our economy and soon China will call in their bets and we will all be using rickshaws to get around! It doesn't matter which party is in power or who the President is,the damage is done. The working man is just a serf in this Global Pizzing Contest!!! LET'S GO RACING while we still can and enjoy the rest of our lives until the money runs out. My .02. :)

This is the type of post I was hopping for when I started this. I was not thinking about racing fuel ,but gas for the hauler (Tow Truck}
