Ragland Captures LebanonMidway Mod Main/Brown's Streak comes to a Narrow Halt

Lebanon,Mo.-Despite a latemoving shower and a sudden drop in the Temp.,100 race teams checked into the LebanonMidwaySpeedway pits and provided an excellent night of racing with close finishes at the line.
In the SuperStock/Sportsman class,Tony Jackson Jr.attempted to take his winning streak to 3 in a row as a strong field checked in for the A Main. Dustin Moore and Ben Newell brought the field down for the green as Moore took the early lead with Newell,Larry Prewett,JC Newell followed.With action going back and forth,Moore looked like he was to break the streak as contenders Newll and Prewett suffered flat tires as point leader Jackson had problems also as his air breather came flying off bringing out the yellow and sending him to the pits for repairs.On the restart,Moore would found JC Newell challanging as Jason Otto came charging through the pack.Moore was working strong on the middle groove and then on lap 13,Jackson came roaring through traffic to catch the lead.Heading for the white flag,Moore was working the low side as Jackson went upstair going into turn 1.Heading down the backstretch,Jackson took to the high-side and narrowly edged Moore at the line as Hard-Charging Brandon Durnham,Otto,and Tim Petty rounded out the top 5..
THe Modifieds again put on a strong main event as Ryan Stacye brought the field down to the green with Tony Fatino in hot pursuit.Points runner-up Wayne Graybeal then began his charge to the front along with Robbie Ott,and Jamie Ragland.On lap 4,Graybeal pulled to the low side and grabbed the top spot as Ragland started his move to the front.On lap 8,Ragland and Graybeal wagged a side by side battle with Graybeal holding on.On lap 9,Ragland pulled a move in turn three and grabbed control of the top spot with Graybeal in tow and now rick Brown started his charge to the front and moved into third place.At the strip,Ragland became the 4th different winner this season as Graybeal moved into the point lead captured second spot followed by a hard charging Brown,Tony Fation, and Robbie Ott.
The FactoryStock feature would see 20 strong take the green as point leader tim Brown was trying to keep his 3 race win streak in tact.On the start,Mike Hailman grabbed the early lead as Eddie Brown followed closely byRobert High,Steve Schultz,and Ron Myers following.On lap 4,point leader Tim Brown who started 11th in the field moved into the top5 and was putting pressure on brother Eddie Brown with Hailman still in control.Lap 9 found Tim move into the second spot and the battle was on as the duo of Hailman and Tim Brown swapped the top spot several time,but on lap 18 going through lapped traffic,Hailman made a strong move into turn 1 and grabbed his first win of the season followed closely by Tim Brown,Eddie Brown,Robert High and Ron Myers at the stripe.
The Winged Sprint feature would see young Josh Fisher jump from his front row starting spot to take the lead as Joe Todd,Clint Todd and Scott Wedelstadt along with Steve Lawrence in tow.Point leader Eric Todd who started 11th,was charging thorugh the field. On lap 4,Joe Todd and Josh Fisher made contact in turn 4 as Fisher's night would end on the hook.On the restart,Joe Todd would find Clint on his bumper,but Clint spun in turn 1 sending him to the rear.On the restart,Joe was in control as John Rowland was making some strong moves in second battling Dustin Arnall,Wedelstadt,Lawrence who was recovering from an early spin.On lap 16,leader Joe Todd tangled with lapped traffic but kept his foot in the gas as Rowland closed quickly while Wedelstadt was battling for third.As the checkered flew,Joe Todd captured his first win of the season followed closely by Rowland,Wedelstadt,Lawrence and Clint Todd.
The Bombers again provided another wild night as 22 strong took the opening green with Wild Bill Schoen taking the early lead with Dusty Rhoades following in tow.Point lead and contender Justin Stoufer got tangled up with Chad Cromer, last weeks winner Mike Piercey,and hard charging Matt Haynes ending there chances for victory.On the restart,Schoen and Rhoades kept the crowd on there feet until lap 11 whenever contact was made sending both the leaders to the pits and former LateModel area star Rex McCroskey grabbed the lead and held on to gather his first win of the season at the Midway followed by 14 year old Tyler Schoen,Bill Roberts,Dale Rodden,and Shawn Nations at the stripe.
The Mini-stock feature saw Eric Clay jump to the early lead with John Wagner Jr in tow.On lap 5,leader Clay lost power taking the leader to the pits as Wagner grabbed the lead with Leon Fellers, point leader Dave Williams,Ike Moore swapping spots back and forth.On lap 10,Fellers took over the lead as Williams and Ike Moore were battling.On lap 13,Williams took over the lead and held off a late surge from Fellers to grab his second win of the season followed by Fellers,Ike Moore,Wagner Jr,and Travis Pruitt at the line.
The Kids Bike Races were cancelled until Next Friday Night due to the threating weather all night long.
