EASTABOGA, AL – Heavy rain on Sunday has postponed the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series Ice Bowl event at Talladega Short Track until Monday. The gates will open at 8 a.m., with racing to begin at 11 a.m.
The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series will run six 12-lap Qualifying Races to determine starting positions 11 through 22 for the $3,000-to-win 40-lap main event. The top ten starting positions for the feature race were set by transferring the top ten qualifiers on Saturday.
Starting positions 23 and 24 are Provisional spots reserved for the top 15 point drivers from the 2006 season that fail to transfer to the main event through qualifying and preliminary races.
