Anybody know what Randy's plans are this weekend? Thanks in advance!

Randy will not be racing this weekend. I will keep you updated when I know more information.

Thanks
Teri

Billy Faust was driving Korte's car at Tri-City's practice. We may see him in that car this weekend.

Well i heard Randy's racing days might be done. His back is gettin worse and he isnt gonna be able to go through with all these rough tracks especially early on. I really hope this isn't the case because i personally think racing wont be the same without king kong at least not for me. He is alot of fun to watch and def knows his stuff about those cars. So Teri or anyone if you could keep us updated and let us know what randys plans are and i really hope its not hanging it up.

that would be a sad day for me,you and a lot of people i sure hope that is not true

Randy will not be racing this weekend. After having some tests run, we believe that he has another broken bone in his back. We will be seeing a specialist this week in order to get more information. After that, I should know when Randy will be back in the race car. Despite all rumors, Randy will be back in a race car, we are just waiting to be cleared from the specialist.

Thanks for the concern, I will keep you updated as I know more information. In the meantime, good luck to the Kehrer Brothers Motorsports team tonight!

Get well soon Randy, look forward to watchin you race as soon as possible. Billy is a good shoe but not half as good as randy, with no disrespect to Billy.

c'mon randy hurry back soon!!!

I don't think hurrying back is the right thing to do. I'd rather see him get healthy, then come back. I'm as big of a Randy Korte fan as there is, but I can wait to see him on the track. The last thing I want to see is for him to return too soon and make the injury worse. Keep in mind, this is some sort of spinal injury, not a broken arm. That's nothing to play around with. I'm sure his doctor will give him good advice.
