Armed with his new Capital racecar, Ray Cook clicked off the quickest lap during the qualifying session to earn Fast Time honors. After drawing a six for the invert, Ray stormed past four competitors and battled for the lead on several different occasions before settling for a strong runner-up effort behind only $2,000 victor Michael Page.
