Team Dillon the driver development team of RCR Racing is strongly considering the trip to Malden Speedway, Malden MO April 18/19 for the $5000 to win event.
"I like the FASTRAK Series" stated Team Owner Mike Dillon. "FASTRAK runs a professional show and they treat all the drivers the same and that's what we are looking for with our driver development teams. We have every intention of getting Austin, Ty and Ryan qualified for the $50,000 to win FASTRAK Grand Nationals at the end of the year. The coverage and the experience for our teams is critical and this is the perfect format for them".
16 year old Ty Dillon will be pilots the back #2 car. Ty is sponsored by No Fear, J Bar B Foods and Team Real Tree.
19 year old Ryan Gifford will be behind the wheel of the #29 Shell/Pennzoil yellow and red machine. Gifford comes out of Winchester TN.
"We are looking strongly at coming to Malden for this event" said Team Manager Shane McDowell. "It's great experience for our teams going to different areas. The dirt is different and having run with FASTRAK before we know things will be run well. Tech is the key to crate engine racing and FASTRAK does a very good job at that".
