Inside Line Promotions - SAPULPA, Okla. (No. 1, 2018) - Travis Rilat ended his season last weekend during the John Christner Trucking Fall Fling hosted by Creek County Speedway.

The BDS Motorsports driver was one of 61 drivers to tackle the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com season finale on Saturday after Friday's preliminary night rained out.

Rilat placed fourth in a heat race before he advanced from ninth to seventh place in a qualifier. That relegated him to a B Main, but a rally from fourth to second place earned a transfer into the back of the main event. Rilat capped the night by maneuvering from 21st to 16 th.

"The heat race got us behind the eight ball, but it was good to show progress in the qualifier, B Main and main event," he said. "That wasn't the result we wanted to end the season with, but there were about 45 drivers behind us so it wasn't a bad night."

Rilat's performance secured a ninth-place result in the ASCS National Tour championship standings despite missing multiple races because of work commitments. It marked the 10th time in Rilat's career that he has posted a top 10 in the standings.

"Our goal was to compete for the championship and we got behind early in the year because of some misfortune," he said. "Then I had to miss a couple of races because of work so we weren't able to contend for the title, but it was a positive to end the season in the top 10 given all the circumstances. I want to thank Bryan Sundby and the team for the opportunity and hard work."
