Stevie was a sanddragger down here in Bonne Terre. Saturday he lost his fight with cancer. I say lost but he beat more odds than doctors ever dreamed!! Just like he would beat most the people that lined up with him at the track. He was such dedicated friend and racer while on his treatments he still took time to help with getting my motor put together. Alot of people say they broke the mold on that one. I can honestly say they truly did!! Stevie was one of a kind. Even tho I was close to him for a short time I sit here with tears in my eyes and smile on my face knowing he is sitting next to God trying to show him how to blow on a duck call shaking his head laughing saying, that's not bad but u will never b good as me!! That's how he was nothing but the truth wether u wanted to hear it r not.
