We would like to take a minute to thank everyone who has helped me out this year with advice, parts, crew, sponsors, and track officials. Thanks to Chad Zobrist, Aaron Kleine, Brian Diveley, Mark Voigt for helping me with set up advice through out the season. You all gave me some good advice and helped me get the car driving better. Thanks to Shannon Kuhn and owner Mike of the #33 for letting me take a few laps in your car last Saturday night to start the show. Thanks to our sponsors who supported us in this tough economic time to allow us to do what we love. And thanks to our fans who came out to root us on and the officials who work their butts off to put on a great show every week for the fans and drivers to enjoy.
This past Saturday we had a rocker arm bearing go south and mess up the shaft and valve. I took them all off last night at the shop and found that all the intake valves are beat up and 2-3 more bearings are going bad so we have made the decision to not run this motor again this season. I am very dissapointed that I cannot continue in my quest to be rookie of the year in the late model class at highland as John Cory and I are only seperated by 3 points for that race. I wish him the best of luck the next 2 races!!!
That being said, I am going to try to find a ride for the remaining 2 races to finish the season and possibly the rookie of the year and keep the 8th place points standing as we sit now. If anyone can help us out with a motor or car for the next 2 weeks we would be in great debt to you. Team owner Rick and I would like to talk to anyone who could help us out or know someone who can with the next 2 races. Please contact Rick at 618-822-6009 or Brandon Hogenson (me) on here or at 618-797-1713 about details. I know this may be near impossible to find, but there are still alot of very generous teams out there who can help and I am the kind of person who will never give up. It is just not in me to come this close to acheiving our goal of rookie of the year and have to sit the last 2 nights. Thanks for any information or offers we may receive and hope everyone has a safe and successful rest of the season.

BIG THANKS TO ROY SIMMONS AND SHANNON KUHN!!!!!!!! Thanks again to Mike and Shannon for lending me the #33 car for the feature saturday night. Thanks to Roy Simmons for offering me his car that Shannon drives on Friday (11x Batman car) for the last 2 nights at Highland. I cannot express how much I appreciate the offer and everyone who wanted to help. See you all saturday night!!!!!

Thanks dirtboy!!!

Too bad you ran into the problem, but it is better find the problem and not cause you additional problem that costs more money.
Wanting something like ROY is good and glad to hear you may be able to still contend for it. Good luck to both drivers in their quest. May the best finisher win the title.
