Mike:

If I knew the power ball numbers, I wouldn't be stuck at work right now! :D

I can predict that tomorrow's racing will be rained out! ;)

Patti,
That last comment was not needed even though that is what the weather people are calling for! I would rather that weather forecast was not that way as the racing season is getting too short and I-55 has had too many Mother Nature feature wins.

Jack:

I'm sorry! I guess I am just bitter because I don't get to go to the races this weekend! First weekend I have missed ALL year... :(

Glad to hear about the checkpoints!!!! It would be more effective if they had not made announcements about where to look for them though. I totally agree with you HWorrell. . . . they need to do this every weekend, unannounced!!! The offenders are out there endangering the lives of others without issuing warnings. Why do they deserve a warning that they may get into trouble? Hasn't that been done? Maybe if unannounced checkpoints became common practice all over the area, people would be detered from getting behind the wheel. This problem is huge and the consequences need to be higher for the offenders (my opinion, of course).

Dear Jack..

Chill out man..Don't jump her case over a simple matter. She's just trying to cheer up a sore subject.. We all know to well how the weather has been this season..I lost 2 GIANT trees in my yard Weds. night, and I'm not on here Bit****..
