I seen some videos of the modifieds they had around here in the 80's and remember a couple of the races when I was a kid. Those were some cool cars like the old Ed Dixon and Bo Smith Plymouth Arrows! Too bad modifieds today couldn't be that cool!

There was a difference in those cars then and today. They were BIG block "Allied Modifieds" and they really put on a show. I remember traveling to Belleville Friday (the noise was deafening sitting under that metal roof), Peavely Saturday and St. Charles on Sunday to watch these guys slug it out on the track. And YES Kevin Gundaker ran with these guys when he was in the area and was VERY fast plus you cannot forget about the King of short track racing Don Klein.....>

We will try to be there it has been a long winter..... Hailey and I are having KREKE withdraws !!!!!! :eek: :D She misses her AL pretty bad :(

Yeah, i heard Gundaker used to be fast. Let's put some big tires and big blocks on these days modifieds and see what they can do! Shake N Bake!!!!!!!!!!

People should be thankful that tri-city is around and thanking kevin for bring so many big shows to our area. If he didnt we wouldnt have any big shows. I mean pevely have a few but thats it. Belleville ha ha that will never happen. So pay the 12 dollars and go to another track on friday and watch the same ole racing you see every week. Me I would pay the 13 extra dollars and see some damn good racing you dont get to see every week. So keep up the good work kevin if you wasnt around or tri-city not sure what everyone would do, oh I know get on here and ***** theres no good racing around here. JMO

Camping is FREE (No Hookups)

Kids 12 & Under FREE

Kids meet "Packy" the Dip and Dot Mascot

What about the tire rule??? Is it strictly G-60's or is USMTS allowing the UMP Hoosiers for the UMP guys?
