Rules Enforcement?

There has been alot of question about what UMP and NALMS are going to do about the engine set back problems they are having in several cars this year. It seem that alot of newer cars are coming out with farther set backs than is allowed. If you don't think this is true just ask the Track officals to start checking it at your track, they will probably find a few that are not legal. Ump officals admitted that there is a problem but are not sure what to do about it, what do you all think sould be done?

This is a tough one, the chassis builders are most likely responsible. I would think the drivers are buying the cars, getting the engine plates from the chassis builder and going racing. First I think they should decide exactly what is going on, if it is racers moving things, or the chassis builders doing it, then they should publicly announce a plan of action, so the chassis builders know that they must build the cars to the specifications, and so the racers know that they must check their cars out at home, and shim the motorplate, and either have the chassis builders offer a corecting front mount, or modify some themselfs to meet the rules. Then a little time should be givin for everyone to fix things, and start DQing people a couple weeks after they make the announcement. The only other option is to just not care and let it go, Check the body, wiegh it, and look at the tire sidewalls. The best things about UMP latemodel rules is that they are very brief, simple, and easy to inspect.

Wich class is this problem in, Im assuming latemodel?
