RUSTY SCHLENK DOMINATES OAKSHADE'S "PUSH TRUCK DUAL 25's"!

JACKSON, MICHIGAN (July 20, 2009)- On Saturday night, July 18th, The "Jackson Assassin" lived up to his nic-name, and slayed the field, not once, but twice, winning both twenty five (25) lap UMP Feature Events. Adding the two (2) Feature Wins to his career total, sets yet another "milestone" for the young and talented Mr. Schlenk, giving him Fifty (50) career Feature Wins, before his 23rd Birthday! Tabbed the "Push Truck Dual Late Model Features" Oakshade Raceway once again gave the fans and racers more Bang for their Buck. Paying $1500 to win both events, and paying precious double UMP National, Regional, and State points, allowed several of the area's top Dirt Late Model teams to make a move for any and all of the three cash, and prestige awards. Up and beyond the UMP Points Battles, Rusty Schlenk also has his sights set on a Third Oakshade Raceway Late Model Track Chamiponship, which would put him in some elite company, joining only Three men with Three Track Championships. Those Three are Kris Patterson, Justin Paxton , and Rody Schroyer. By virtue of his back to back feature wins, the Young Throttle Stomper also increased his Oakshade Raceway points lead to 110, over a super consistant Casey Noonan. With only Six (6) weeks left until Championship Night, Rusty Schlenk has to be the odd's on favorite! This week's schedule for Rusty Schlenk Racing will start on Thursday Night, July 23rd, at Charleston Speedway(Illinois), then on to Kankakee Speedway(Illinois), on Friday Night, July 24th. Saturday Night, July 25th, the 91 gang will return to Oakshade Raceway(Ohio), Tentative plans are to run at the new Shepp's Motor Speedway(Illinois) on Sunday, July 26th.
