Rusty Wallace in HOF?

Another RETARDED move by NASCRAP / WWF! What a joke. Rusty Wallace shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as the others! Another BIG JOKE from NASCRP / WWF!
 
I agree! I can think of a alot of racers that deserve it before Wallace. But thats Nascrap for ya. I would MUCH rather see a dirt race on Fox TNT FX or ESPN or whatever station they decide to be on..............on a Sunday!!
 
This guy dedicated his life to the sport so I can have a hero.and never once did he take shirt from anybody.and neither do I.I don't know who the other guys are,being a rookie and running rustys number but I won't talk bad about them or you.that crap says it all.all the wallaces are a cornerstone to our sport thanks for crapping on one of my heros .fu 2
 
So 55 wins a championship and finished top ten in points every year he raced but 1 or 2 and he did it against all the greats petty Earnhardt Gordon Elliot Stewart you name so yes he very well deserves to be in it is a no brainer like Kyle petty said!!!!!!

Man please dont take it so hard.....not sure what you mean about "taking shirt from anybody" but what i can say is rusty and mike wouldnt give anyone the shirt off there back....big difference in giving and taking but Rusty doesnt acknowledge the St. Louis area where he cut his teeth in racing nor do I care....Kenny on the other hand is a class act and totally different then his 2 brothers, I grew up cheering on Rusty and Mike at all our local tracks and i have seen what "Famous" did to them and it wasnt pretty or at least it isnt to me, I'd rather see Jeremy Mayfield get in then Rusty.....lmao

so its okay to do drugs steal and lie but not build a life and move on from your home town. Before you bad mouth Rusty inventory your own life as im sure god did not give you the right to judge. What a joke
 
Being honest, I am not a big Rusty fan. Nascar had to let him in now, because in the future there will be no room for Rusty on the ballot. Richard Childress, Jack Rousch, J.Johnson, J.Gordon, T.Stewart,B.Elliott,T.Labonte, T.Flock, M.Martin. Not to mention how many K.Busch, C.Edwards, etc. will win to surely get in. I understand Rusty retired, but if all of these guys were retired, how many would have went in before him? Hopefully alot! Not too big on the "you gotta be retired to be in" thing. You telling me Rusty did more for Nascar than Jack, Richard, J.Johnson,J.Gordon, etc. Heck Larry Mac should be in-crew chief and one of the best(def better than Rusty) on the broadcasting side.

I to don't think he is a hall of famer but i think differently at any hall of fame in this manner what kind of a person was he or she. i have not met Rusty but i know a few who have and when nascar was becoming big i rooted for any one with ties to st.louis untill i was told from others who knew these guys better then me. Now i just root for Kenny Wallace. I am sure there are some people that was not on the list that made more of a difference then Rusty.
 
How can you say mark Martin before rusty less wins no championship and if u guys would have listened to rusty interview yesterday u would have heard him talk abt Stl and lake hill speedway and if mike didn't care abt local racing y would he have his kids come all the way bk here to race some of you guys are clueless!!! Let me guess next you will say Schrader should go in to hall of fame!!
 
Do any of you guys knocking Rusty even understand how the voting is done? Rusty had some good accomplishments his career. Who are you to decide who gets in and who doesn't. What's funny about this is if you made that kind of money he did you might be a happier person and not be so negative towards someone else accomplishments. I for one am happy for him he had a great career. He can't help he was voted in by the voting panel before other that where just as deserving of the honor. Guess some folks will whine about anything they don't like.

It's only my opinion don burrows sr. I think letting Rusty in will only water down the HOF. Just because he's a popular guy doesn't give him right for the HOF. Them numbers you said he had are only average in my opinion. The HOF should be the best of the best. Winning one championship shouldn't be automatic in the HOF.
