I am pretty sure this is your problem "() Panic: Can't load resource set "common.res"
55.04.171: =================================================="

Everyone gets that message about windows. Everyone clicks yes and they are ok. Did you download alll the patches. If you did. try un-installing the game and then re-install it.

i think he is missing a patch, but i could be worng...but i would do like walters says and reinstall it, cause mine tells me its not made for 2000 and i just click yes and it works so i would double check all of my patches.

Ok..im lost. There are 5 patches..under the dirt sims...i downloaded all them...twice. I see..there supposed to be a patch 1.7 or...1.8 but..its not on the list(in the forum discussion...they talk about needing that). If anyone can help..let me know. Also..as i download a file...do i save them to my computer..and..do anything to them..afterwards?? Sorry..im new to this part of downloading

Ok...found the patches...unloaded...reloaded everything..still does the same thing...this otrher game..any easier to get going???

save them yo your computer and run them...like install them, and if you have all the patches install them after you install them games...they should goto you heat foulder ;ex C:/program files/hasbro/Nheat something like that....does regular nascar heat work?

If it is a zip file you need to save them in your NASCAR heat/run folder on your C drive. Then open up that folder file the zip file right click and click extract to here. On some after to extract them they create new files or folders, open them all. Sometimes that have an install in them.

Let us know if you have any more questions.
