The guy with the 1.2 billion is Johnny Gray from Texas, he sold his oil company not oil stocks. He started a Pro Stock Team with his son last year and is going to race a Funny Car this season and son staying in Pro Stock. Do not know if he is interested in Gateway.
I can't imagine Wallace or Shrader getting involved in Gateway. That track never showed a profit in any year of it's existence (even before the economy nose-dived). Plus Gateway has already given up their Nascar dates and all other track races. I went to Gateway for the final Nationwide practice. It was the last race the track was going to have. The cost to watch was $5.00 and I'll bet there weren't 100 people there. I think the track seats like 50,000.
