Pevely, MO (April 17, 2004) Scott Weber jumped out front from the pole position and led all twenty laps of the U.M.P. Modified feature event. There were several caution periods and on each restart Weber would open up a comfortable lead. The battle for second place raged on as Tom Ratajczyk tried to hold off Bobby Bittle, Brian Worley and Eric Mabery. Bittle finally made his way past Ratajczyk late in the event and a with a late caution was able to restart right on Weber's bumper. Bittle was unable to get close enough to challenge Weber and Weber went on to victory. Bittle crossed the line second, Ratajczyk third, Brian Worley crossed the line fourth and Eric Mabery was fifth.
Weber also won his qualifying heat and the dash to sweep the action in the U.M.P. Modified division. Brian Worley and Mark Miner were the other heat winners.
