Just wanted to take a minute and say thank you. You see with all the rough unsportsmanlike driving and acting of some drivers, with every excuse in the book, it's nice to see a stand up guy like weber emerge! The man not only lends out parts and advice, he will also take the time to say hi or sign a autograph for a fan. If he has a bad night he doesn't create excuses, just does his best and goes on. In my opinion we're the winner every time he shows up at the track! So next time your wondering the pits wave or stop by i'm sure you'll be glad you did. My hats off to you Mr. Weber. Your truely an american hero!

Could not agree more. Scott has paid his dues racing....starting out in the the old Bomber class and learned how to drive and win before going to the Modifieds. He grew up at race tracks watching his dad, Gary, race #88 at Belleville and St. Charles. He works hard for the money he spends on his car, and if he gets upset because some idiot driving over their head wrecks him...you know they deserved it. Tim Hollerbach is racing today because of Scott's support and encouragement....and I'm sure there are others. It doesn't matter if Scott wins the feature or DNF, he'll talk to anyone who comes down to the pits....not like some of the high-dollar late model guys. Scott Weber is one of the reasons I come every week to watch, even when my budget says I should stay home. He's worth it.

This is to wide open not to say anything!!!:D

SCOTTY, WHAT DOES IT COST TO GET PEOPLE TO COME ON HERE AND SAY SUCH GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOU?

Before anyone says anything, I am friends with Scott and crew and this is only a joke. He is a good guy and has helped me out as well.:D

Speaking of wide open, you were flying Sat. night just to bad Kent didn't wait another week to come back. I think you'll get one before the year is out.

As for Scott it is always fun to pit next to him, never a dull moment. My brothers boy Cameron (5 yrs. old) went up to him last year before the races and asked him if he was fast:eek:, Cammy didn't see him race before i thought Scott was going to fall over. Anyway Scott went out and won his heat and when got out of the car Cammy said yea your pretty fast:D, it was hilarious!

Couldn't agree with you more! Scott has always been a wonderful mentor and role model for my son, Chris. During Chris' rookie year in modifieds (in 2008) Scott was always there for him with welcomed advice, to lend a hand and often with much needed parts. He couldn't have done it without Scott & Tina Weber and the Weber race team's help.

Before the modified, Scott even mentored Chris when he drove his Pro-4. Scott knows what it is like to earn (and learn) your way through the ranks of racing and his advice has been simply invaluable. Due to economics (a.k.a. lack of sponsorship) Chris is back in the Pro-4 for now, but hopes to be out in the modified again later this season - at least for a couple of races, anyway. And when he does, we know we can always count on the Webers to be there for him.

Scott truly is an inspiration to many and a great guy to know!

I have to agree with everyone. Weber is a awesome guy!!

I didn't really know Weber until a few years ago and he got to pitting by the 02 Robert Powers at Malden and The Bluff and got to hanging around listening to him and he is a blast to be around!! Him and his whole crew!!!

One thing about it.....he has paid his dues in the racing world!! Go Weber go!! We miss you at Farmington!!!

Scott has been a friend of mine for close to 20 years. He and his family have always been nice to me and my family. The 4j was always my son's fav!!!

I'm not sure if Scott is retiring or maybe we should all stop and say a prayer for him and his new found illness...

Taking a look at the top 3 American Heroes (besides GI Joe):

1.) Abraham Lincoln
-Saved the Union during the Civil War.
-His actions eventually led to the abolition of slavery across the United States.
-I guess the racetrack in Lincoln, IL wouldn't exist without the Honest Abe.

2.) Franklin D Roosevelt
-Led us to victory in World War II.
-Worked tirelessly to end the Great Depression.
-Created numerous programs during the New Deal to help Americans get back to work.

3.) Scott Weber:
-First driver to tell another driver they are #1 on the track without using the pointer finger.
-This guy has driven for more different chassis builders then Hammerman, John Gill, and Rick Eckert combined.
-First ever driver to put a meaningful letter in his #.
-Inventor of the man thong.
-The reason why plus size models come to the track.

Thanks Scott for your meaningful contributions to the dirt track community!! You are TRULY an American Hero and already crowned 2009 Modified point champion at TCS.

Now that is some funny stuff right there I don't care who you are.

Scott is great to his fans that is for sure - anytime I see him he says hello. When I traveled out of town if Scott was there and saw me, he would make a point to say hello and take a moment to talk with us - Great guy all around! - Danny
