The UMP Sportsman will run a 25 lap Feature as part of the Scott Wernle Memorial Night at the Speedway. This race is being sponsored by Oberbeck Grain. It will pay $400 to win. Thanks, Sue Z
 
Correction...

The Wernle family has collected a total of $700 to add to the total purse for the Sportsman class tomorrow.

Also, they have donated $50 to the highest Brownstown car finisher and another $50 to the highest Allied finisher. If they place 1st, additional $100 bonus.

what consitutes a brownstown car?? the sportsman ran there only once,,i ran 4th,,,eilers ran second to steve...but as a sportsman driver i want to thank those that got us extra money...lenny g.
 
This oughta be fun, who's gonna be legal tomorrow night,or not? I just might have to go.....OMG!
 
I was really excited about bringing our car to Highland, but unfortunately, I have a stupid wedding to go to. I hope this race is well attended, and a great support for the Wernle family. I will be thinking about you guys.
