Springfield,Mo.-Action will resume Sat Night at the Quick-Quarter of the SpringfieldRaceway as the track will be holding Scout Night of America on Sat Night July 18.Any Boy or Girl Scout that comes to the track in uniform will be admitted Free.
Racing action will feature the lightning fast USRA Modifieds,LateModels,SportMods,LegendCars and the popular Bombers.
Heading into this weekend's racing action,Defending track champion Jackie Dalton heads-up the point standings in the USRA Modifieds.Dalton who grabbed the opening 3 features has been shutout of victorylane since.
SportMod point leader Billy Street of Joplin captured his first win of the season last Sat night while a tight battle between Roy Maynard,Mike Hailman and JC Morton for the runner-up spot.
Park Jones of Joplin currently leads the Legends point standings,but David Bauer,Jason Rayle and others are still in striking distance.
Robert High of Springfield holds a slim lead over James Redus in the Bomber class as Jeremy Manes of Nixa holds a 2 point lead over Adam Brown in the LateModel Class.
