SEMA takes over IMIS

PRI has taken over the IMIS event...

Beginning in 2013, PRI will return to Indy from Orlando and will once again be one big show at Indy.

I'm not sure i'll like that......to much none racing crap at the PRI show. IMIS is all about racing and nothing but racing. Just my view, I'll still go.

PRI is more drag racing than dirt racing. But I guess we will find out.

PRI is a racing trade only show that has all the bits and piece associated with ALL forms of racing, not a drag race, stock car, etc. venue. You can't just walk in off the sidewalk into PRI, you have to have credentials.

IMIS requires credentials as well.. But it has always been pretty easy to get IMIS credentials..

Just looked at their registration and seen that. What is your business name is all they require, PRI used to ask for proof.

The last time I attended was their 1st year in Orlando and I still receive a request from them each year to register. I always register and get the credentials to keep my name active on their list.
Glad to see they're returning to Indy.

I also receive IMIS credentials each year and I think I only signed up as belonging to a race assn. maybe had to send a copy of membership card. I also have a set of their credentials for 2012.
