Looking at the Tri City Speedway and I-55 schedule highlights for 2014 I seen something that really caught my eye..the weekend of the 12th and 13th in September. Both tracks are having a $10,000 to win UMP late model show...Tri-City having the Fall 50 friday night and Pevely having the Pevely Nationals saturday night. With the dropping off of the World of Outlaws late model series this just makes sense to make this a HUGE weekend for local racers and might attract some regional drivers as well with the Lucas Oil Series off that weekend. I did notice the NDRL have the Pittsburgher 100 that weekend as well as the WoO having a race at Berlin,Michigan. I for one will probably try and attend both of these big events being probably the last big late model event of the year in these parts.
