I have to agree with the fact that the payoff isn't very good for anyone out of the top 3 in most all the classes. Considering the cost of tires and fuel and gas just to get to the track and then the $25 pit pass. I know several drivers in sprints and modifides both who don't run every week because they just cant afford it. If the payoff down through was better that would change for most of them. Right now a driver form 100 miles or more away would pay close to $200 for just the fuel to get to the track, and for a sprint to finish 10th that is all it pays.

We do not appreciate the dedication that ALL the drivers in every class do for the fans week in and week out ! It just is not a money making thing anymore. Their love of racing is what makes them all really special people and we should be greatful that we can sit and watch the show they put on for the crowd. This is such a costly hobbie now. It would blow your mind if you knew how much money these drivers have in their cars !!!!!!!!! So, come on... SUPPORT these drivers. Encourage them and let them know you enjoyed THEIR show ! Positive thoughts... NOT negative..... LeaDonna

I have to agree with LD because alot of these guys go out there not for money but because this was one of their childhood dreams that they are able to fulfill. We need to support ALL the drivers from the beginning of the pack to the back. They have enough to deal with on the track without people griping about things. I don't always agree with how things are run or how some drive but we have to say that they all put on a GREAT show for us all. Thank you Drivers!!!!!

jj i think everyone is about tired of your negativity...if you dont like SFCR then dont come out...i highly doubt you would be missed. your points are fine, but you just dont know when to quit...maybe there are things that need to be looked into, but in order to pay racers better more people have to be in the stands...and you spewing negative stuff all of the time does nothing but keep someone new who may read this away. instead if you really care about the drivers and their well being then why dont you contribute in a positive manner and say something good once in a while? you obviously like the raceway or you wouldnt be on here 24/7 like you are...so why not have a little pride in something that takes up so much of your time and quit being such a whinebag?
and about billy...no one is actually accusing him of cheating...there are rules that have been in place for ages and for the sake of keeping other drivers around you have to keep things fair(the 4d car who was given last place for not weighing knew the rules as well...they are not new rules). if billy a great driver that he appears to be and hes legal he will have no problem being checked. i saw him last night and he didnt seem bothered at all...so why do you come on here and stir things up? he has internet access...he doesnt need you to come in and cause a big stink about things in his name. and for the record if ANYONE leaves because they are tested for something like that...i will say it right now...THEY ARE CHEATING! billys not worried so hes obviously fine.
in every class there are people with money problems...its a very expensive hobby...if drivers are there for the money they arent there for the right reason. i understand that it takes a lot to keep a car going around the track week in week out, but if everyone broke even at the end of the race seasonb we would all be driving a car. racing is also very competitive and people are very passionate about it...so i understand why people get a little riled up about some things...but the real race fans that actually post def shine through.
