Boy, what a difference in the sportsman class payout for the feature winner from the ROCK and SFCR! Any reason why the big difference?
 
I have been told that there were some changes made in the Modified payout last year that aren't reflected here.. I'll check on them and I'll get back with possible changes ASAP...

with the amount of cars in the mod class, they would pay better than that. 2nd threw 10 need to be payed better. come on cory you can do better!!!!!!!

NOTE: Wolf, he was paying better than that. If you would have read the complete post you would have realized the Modifieds had not been updated yet.
 
the step down from 1st to second in sprints could be improved and modified class could be 2nd -5th improved and for the sportsmen....... ouch!!!you guys have to be diehards to run for that kind of money for what you spend on these cars you could move up to mods at least to win a little more Iv'e been around this sport for awhile and i dont see why you dont get together as a class and talk to cory about improving your payout. as far as that goes i think they could all be improved with out adding to much more to the purse. it could better from 1st to 5th in all classes please i am not throwing darts and the promoters just a idea?? at least from 1st- 2nd in all classes multis isnt stepped down to bad

here is some rough ####s for purses for each class it should be bumped up if they have these car counts
sprints $8000.00 ($8500.00 30 car count) 8,000.00 if less
mods. $1840.00 (2,500.00 25 car count) 2,000.00 if less
sportsmen $1445.00 (2000.00 if they have a 20 car count)1750.00 if less
multi's $1400.00 (1750.00 25 car count) 1500.00 if less
purestreet $1250.00????? 20 car count 1,000.00 if any less
if the car count is there 1st- 5th should be improved in all classes
 
It's always easy to spend somebody else's money....

People forget that insurance is over $1,700 a night, the electric bill is "shocking," and just the cost of fuel and up-keep on the equipment each week is mind-boggling. That's just a taste of the weekly expenses. When you find out all the weekly expenses (and some of the unexpected expenses) each week, it totally changes your perspective on how they are ever able to even pay the bills.

Why should the multis be paid 4th down the line? They have big car counts (30 avg.) and cost just as much to run. I would bet they're the best support class there financially. A lot of them are younger and the whole family comes including brothers, sisters, grandmas and grandpas. If any class deserves a bigger purse it should be them.

How can you justify paying sportsmen (12 car avg.) more than multis (30 car avg.)? Just curious.
 
And besides that, the multis are the second fastest class running. ( Get out your stop watch.)

Also, have you checked out their trailers? This is a serious class.

What do you think the track has under it? Gold? It would be nice to pay sprints 8,000 dollars. But lets face it, that just won't happen. The highest multis have ever been payed is 1,500 on multi madness, when there was like 60 multis. Honestly 8,000 dollars is an ungodly amount compared to what is being paid now. Unless you wanna donate...?????:rolleyes:

Huh? When I add up the sprint payout posted above I get $7700. Not sure what you're talking about! Unless you thought he meant $8000 to win. I don't think that's what was meant. I think he meant total purse.
