Jimmy is incredibly quick at getting results / updates posted. Heard it was a good show... with a rain delay. Was wondering about the 1a late model finish

Those folks running the track deserve a ton of credit for the work they do. Not only did they make a last second decision to give the late models a place to race with good payout but then they reworked the track after a hard rain. They are old school. You just don't see that kind of effort. And the stands looked full. Hope they are making it work financially too!
 
The Blair's are really putting it all on the line to get SFCR back to where it was one of the finest dirt tracks in the Midwest. It had lost its luster several years ago and was on a crash coarse to probably being shut down but Brian and Amy are bending over backwards to get it back to the reputation it had back in the 90's and early 2000's where drivers would drive from all over the Midwest to race here. I've heard through the grapevine they have some BIG plans for the track in 2016 but we'll wait for confirmation first before the beans need spilled. Ya'll need to hear it from the horses mouth sotospeak not a rumor mill!
 
Im still quite impressed with the turnaround of the place. Would.like to see some.steps taken to speed the show up but sometimes a late night happens.

What was baffling to me was why were they using oil dry on a dirt race track during bmod feature. Seems like plain ol dirt woulda worked
 
U guys need to remember that we had a rain delay and two sets of hot laps and 5 classes and a bmain I thought it went pretty good just to many yellows in the bmods
 
Promoters doing an incredible job... only thing is that when they book a bigger show that pulls in more traveling fans 2+ hours away, they need to run that feature first.
 
I thought things went great Saturday! Good car counts, nice crowd, and the track was as good as I've seen it in a while. Hope they can bring lates back again sometime maybe with UMP points.
