* Scott Bloomquist was the first car to drop from the event afer severe smoke from the rear end of his machine
* The race ran over 80 straight green flag laps before a lap 82 caution.
* Jimmy Owens led the first 56 laps before giving way to Shane Clanton. He set a torrid pace over the course of the first half of the race - lapping the first car at lap 9.
* Scott James, Shannon Babb, and Billy Moyer were involved in a late race caution which ultimitely ended their hopes of winning a World 100
* Shane Clanton and Jimmy Owens together led all 100 laps
* Earl Pearson Jr dropped from the race after climbing all the way to 2nd spot and mounting a bit of a challenge for the lead.
