Shock & Awe!

Uncle Ed.

Team Heidenhain Racing
Hello everyone!

(That is everyone who is left!)

Its my birthday and I was sitting around killing time and thought I might check in with all of the folks in the Mini Stock world only to find that nothing is happening with this forum at all.

What a disappointment.

I have been married to the family business for the past few years and have not been able to go racing, but I had hoped to get back to it if there is something left of the class.

I hope all of you had a great holiday season and are doing well despite the economic down turn.
I am busier then ever at the shop and we are booked through March already so we have not felt the slow down at all yet!

Well:
Again I hope all of you are well and good.
Maybe I will see some of you at the track some this year.

Uncle Ed OUT!:D

Great to hear from you Ed! THings sure have been slow on here, maybe everyone is busy working on their cars.

I am actually going to start on mine today!! It would be great to have your team back at the track this year, if not get your car going and you and Mike come out and have some fun with us.

Happy Birthday to you
Jack

uncle ed

good to hear from you. hope you and mike come out to the track a few times. you need to be racing again to get away from the rat race. we should be out there every now and then,
kurt

Mcs

Has anyone heard anything about MCS for the 2009 season, other than a schedule will be released after Thanksgiving? We are in a quandry as to what rules to build our new car to - the MCS rules make the car unusable at most other tracks that run 4 cylinder classes...

Any of the other MCS mini-stock drivers in the same position?

Hope that MCS pulls through for 2009 and looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Rules

MCS and Doe Run have basically the same rules. The only exception why a MCS car can't be legal at DRR is port work on head and MSD ignition box.

Thanks:

Good to here that some of you are still out there.
Thanks for the birthday wish Jack.
I am almost a half century old now.
Never thought I would make that age.
And its good to know that your OK Kurt.
How is Lane doing down at School?
I would guess he was home for the Holidays at least.
And how dull would this forum be without you Jim.
Of course I missed seeing and chatting with you.
How is Joe? Well I hope.
And Yea, Tony sold the cars and I did not get the chance to buy them although they were just about spent.
We wanted to build another one the season before last, but that is when my Mom died and things got crazy.
I have been talking to Mike about the racing deal and we might just build another one for me to drive.
I do need some stress relief now and again.
We could do that on a limited schedule without much effort.
And another thing:
Its good to hear that Mel hasn't changed the way he runs the track.
I wish he would change some of the rules so you could build the cars to run different tracks.
What is he afraid of?

Congrats to Harv and his bunch on the track championship for 08.
No matter what the competition level, you can't win one of those if your not there every week.
We all know what that takes.
Job Well Done Boys!
I am not sure we would have had anything for you last year the way your car was performing.

Does anyone know what the class will look like for 09?

I will try to stay in tune so I can make a decision on what we might do in 09.
Only about 70 - 80 days before you guys and girls have to be ready!

I am going to stick my head in the trunk of the 15A, open the fuel tank and take a big sniff of the racing fuel.
That usually gets the ole racing feelings stirring again.

Hope to see you all some time soon.:)
