Madison, IL - Gateway International Raceway announced today that Shop 'n Save will
be the presenting sponsor of the Wallace Family Tribute 250 NASCAR Busch Series race
on Saturday, July 30, 2005.
The St. Louis-based grocer headlines the weekend with the Shop 'n Save 150 ARCA/RE-
MAX Series race on Friday night July 29 and the Wallace Family Tribute 250 presented
by Shop 'n Save on Saturday night July 30.
"The Shop 'n Save customer is looking for great value at a fair price and that is what we
believe we offer to the race fans of the Midwest," said Matt Strelo, Gateway Vice
President and General Manager. "Shop 'n Save is committed to the communities that
their 36 stores serve and they understand that those communities want to be a part of
what is sure to become the most significant motorsports weekend in the history of this

Shop 'n Save will host many in-store promotions and sweepstakes with participating
vendors leading up to the events of July 29-30. These events will also be a significant
fundraising program for the Special Olympics of Missouri and Illinois- including the
raffling of an Official Pace Vehicle - a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Truck.
The green-flag will drop for the Wallace Family Tribute 250 presented by Shop 'n Save
at 7:00 PM on Saturday night July 30. It will be followed by a spectacular fireworks
show and a concert by country music star Chris Cagle. Friday's Shop 'n Save 150 ARCA
RE/MAX series race will begin at 8:00 PM on Friday night, July 29.
