WEST PLAINS MO. Eric Turner of Hermitage, Missouri picked up Friday's Modified Feature event at the 11th Annual Show-Me 100. Turner benefited from two driver's misfortunes, as Cliff Carter and Billy Romans both suffered problems that allowed Turner to drive away from the field, and take the win.
Cliff Carter took the early lead, but brought out the caution on lap three with an apparent blown motor. Carter was done for the night.
Billy Romans held the lead on the restart, with Turner apply pressure every lap. Romans stayed out front until lap 14. The front-runners started getting into traffic, and Turner used a lapped car as a pick, getting past Romans in turn one. Romans made contact with the slower car, cutting down a tire, which brought out a caution. Romans pitted for fresh rubber, and tagged onto the field at the rear.
Eric Turner drove away from the field until a lap 20 caution for Bill Adams, who got tagged, and turned around, slowed the race. Turner drove away from the field again over the last five laps, taking the win.

WEST PLAINS MO. Peyton Taylor picked up the 20 Lap Modified feature Sunday at the 11th Annual Show-Me 100. Taylor took a $750 check home to Batesville, Arkansas for the win.
Robert Powers held the lead early. Peyton Taylor bypassed his brother Jeff for the second spot in turn four on lap 15. Taylor ran down Powers, and drove past him on the bottom of the track in turn four on the next circuit.
Peyton Taylor took home the win, with Powers, Mark Norris, Kevin Salter, and Billy Romans rounding out the top five.
