I'm putting on my marketing hat again.
This sunday is the Easter car show at Forest Park in St. Louis. This is a big event, 10,000 to 20,000 spectators. I have never seen a local dirt race car there. This is a car enthusiast demographic. Do car people know about the great racing in our area? Get some race cars at this show. Track promoters, give the driver/owners some schedules to hand out, new fans! Car owners, new people looking at your car... sponsors maybe? Just seeing some LM/mod, etc. etc. bad boy, back off the trailer and rumble to its show spot is going to draw a crowd. This event is 50 years old. It is really 2 shows in one. The upper Muny lot is for the Antiques, old original, sports, etc. cars. The lower Muny is for the Hot Rods/Customs. I have attached a poster for the lower show, where the race cars would be welcomed.
