Simple Green Ingredients,,,,may be the tire culprit here

ALCOHOL

Look up 2-butoxyethanol on wiki pedia....this is a solvent used in many ways including one of the ingredients in SIMPLE GREEN. I looked up the MSDS sheet on Simple Green and it lists this ingredient,,,This is probably what is showing up on the tire lab tests. Just sayin'

Give this guy a gold star.

i'd give him a cookie. Everyone loves cookies.... Nick did say simple green would set it off in a statement on the site.

OJ's dream team would tear U.M.P and these track officials who handle these samples a new azz and they would want to get a different job..... I think its a big hoax!!! JMO

My neighbor runs a crate and uses Simple Green and a power washer to clean his tires, I myself use Krud Kutter. I wonder if he knows or even cares what Simple Green has in it?..

Sad thing is we have lost 3 good drivers at Highland over all this nonsense.
Bailey, Kloss and Hoffmann.

I think Kloos should be eligible to race again starting this Sunday!!

Heard they asked for the suspension to be lifted a few days early to run the MARS race at Highland Thursday and got denied. Can't wait to see Michael back on the track (in a late model) in that brand new Pierce car!

its about time people educate themselves before they get on here talking crap...i have been saying that same thing on here for weeks and i'm sure Nick was saying that long beforehand. Right or wrong, these tire tests they are doing is a joke

Not saying they are.......or are not bogus. But do you know what they look for in a tire test? I dont........so does the average shmoe. I asked a friend of mine who used to be a chemist......now is a teacher. He told me and this was his exact words............if they know what simple green tests to be.................then they would have no problem seeing if its there compared to other stuff they might see in a tire prep. My belief is this........and its only a guess. They are looking for a certain chemical being used around here by someone who tipped them off. That could happen....not saying you all are wrong and you do have a good argument. It all depends on the chemist.......and how hard he wants to investigate the samples. Good points.

I also heard (yep "heard") that Blue Ridge, the company that does the tire tests, is no longer in business.
Can anyone confirm this?
