Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, IL is proud to announcethe “SIR Twin 25’s” hornet race on July 20[SUP]th[/SUP], 2013! It will featurea $1,000 to win, $50 to start payout ($3,300 purse). Other classes running thisnight include: Dwarf, Jr. Sprint, Restricted Micro, Non Wing Outlaw Micro. Thiswill also be a special night because all micro divisions will be runningnon-wing including Jr. Sprints and Restrictors. These addition classes will berunning for normal entry fees, payouts, and formats. This is a non-points nightall divisions.
The “SIR Twin 25s” Hornet race format will be as followsrivers will pill draw for their starting position in 10 lap heat races.Passing points will be given to drivers in their heats races with the top 6 inpoints overall going to the dash. Everyone else will be placed in qualifiersbased on passing points. The top “so many” in those qualifiers will fillpositions 7-20 in the feature. The top point earner will come on the frontstretch during intermission and draw for the dash invert. Then the top 6 carswill run their dash with the finishing order being the starting line-up for thefront 3 rows. The winner of the dash will have LANE choice in the feature! Thenthe 20 cars will come out and run the first 25 lap segment of the feature. Oncethe checkered flag falls, cars will exit the track and have a 10 minuteintermission in the pits to refuel their cars ect. The cars will then re-enterthe track and run the final 25 laps with the winner taking home $1,000 cash!
The payout for the hornet division will be as follows:

2- $500
3- $400
4- $300
5- $200
6- $100
7- $90
8- $80
9- $70
10- $60
11- 20- $50
