Solid flat tappet cam suggestions

Now living in Kansas I decided to switch classes and run with the IMCA modifieds. Our engine rule is limited to Solid flat tappet camshafts. I wanted to see if anyone had any cam suggestions for a 3.75 stroke 400 bore type engine for a modified?

Thank you!

Beau

Your fixin to get 100's of answers and 98 percent of em wrong. You need to call a cam company armed with some very specific specs on your engine to get it right. The wrong cam can turn a decent engine into a slug. Also you will need to run oil with Zinc if you ever want to make a flat tappet cam live, there are very few oils that contain zinc (thanks to the E.P.A.) Brad Penn and Joe Gibbs are a couple of the few that still contain zinc.

What cylinder head, intake, carburetor. What compression ratio? How much rpm? How much rpm range? What fuel?
