On May 25, 2015 John Osman, had a stroke and suffered a fall at his home in Macon. On May 28, 2015, three days later, he was pronounced brain dead. John was a very selfless person. He always took time to talk to people and make them feel special. He was extremely proud of his family and absolutely loved racing. He was an organ donor and he continued his selflessness after his passing by donating his organs to five different families across the nation. On September 12, 2015, we will be paying tribute to him by holding a memorial race for the Street Stock division at Macon Speedway. John's son, Greg, races in the Street Stock division and his father was always working to make the division better. This event is an event to honor his memory and to help give back.
