Justin Wells and Kyle Beard of Truman, Ark brought the field to the green as Wells took early control as Beard, MARS Champion Jesse Stovall,Philips and Sullivan followed . Stovall grabbed second and began his forward march as the pack was tight. A lap 6 caution saw Wells lead to a single car over Stovall. On the restart, Beard-the youngster known as the Silent Assassin moved around Stovall for second and began to run down Wells. On lap 15, Leader Wells jumped the top cushion in turn 3 but kept going and Beard took the top spot.Caution flew 1 lap later as a lapped car spun. With Beard up front, Stovall stopped to ask his car be checked by the official which is not allowed. When asked to go tailback, Stovall refused and went to the pits ending his night. Beard would find Phillips and Sullivan on his bumper as Phillips picked the high groove. Beard had 2 of the best around chasing him as Sullivan and TP went side by side. Beard began to pull away and on lap 23, Phillips got away from Sullivan and gave chase as Wells was moving on Action Jack.
