Springfield,Mo.-The SpringfieldRaceway has announced that they will sanction with the USRA For the A-Modified Division for 2009.
This gives the Modified drivers in Southwest Missouri 3 tracks to compete at and a chance to compete for a National Title as LebanonMidwaySpeedway provides Friday night action,SpringfieldRaceway for Sat Nights and Monett Speedway for Sunday Night.
The USRA takes a drivers best 20 finishes and compiles points to claim a National Champion.Headed by USMTS owner Todd Staley,the USRA provides the weekly racer a chance at staying close to home and competing against drivers from all over with a structured point system and guidelines.
Over 25 Tracks currently sanction with the American Racer Tire USRA with 9 different states represented.Each track has a point fund for the USRA Modifieds with the home office out of Webster City,Iowa.They currently sanction 9 different Racing classes with a set of structured rules for each class.
