They need to give in and run ASCS stuff and go to 360's. I know it's an open engine rule and that it's possible for a top 360 to beat a 410 at Farmington, but as a general rule, I think you would see the car count go up. Why does that Mark Shirshekan (spelling?) drive from Farmington to run at LAke of the Ozarks in a 360? He looked good at Pevely

I completely agree, SFCR needs to go 360.

If everyone who votes for 360's would buy our $10,000 plus dollars worth of scrap aluminum....I think we could switch. We'd have $25,000 dollars in a 360 in no time to be competitive. Right now, you don't have much of a disadvantage from running a smaller 410 (-12 head motor like ours) compared to a bigger GB2300 or 13 degree All Pro engine. You can run less expensive engines and get lots of nights on them and still be pretty competitive. If we went to 360 engines, the dollars spent to advantage ratio would be quite a bit more. One guy would get a new Roush engine for $30,000 and kill everyone who didn't. I don't have a problem with trying to get some ASCS shows to the track....I love watching them, but I think we are going to be ok with the 410s for some time. The economy is terrible bad right now. Compared to a lot of other tracks, Farmington is going pretty well. With other tracks having to close down, I think you will see the car count get higher through the fall.
