i saw this thread go up last season and figured id try it out this year. so anyone see a repeat playoff appearance? possibly farther or will we flounder out like post lock out seasons

myself i say look out nhl. this was a VERY young and inexperienced team last year and still made the post season. with that experience, this team should be a contender.

:D Hay Jinnefer here comes the Blues, where are you? Won't be long before she starts her yapde yap yap:D:D
Dang this only means the racing season is just about over. CRAP :D

Lets hope Mason doesn't do what he did in Nashville a few years back. Had a great run in the playoffs, the following year went in the tank. I wish the Blues would have tried to sign a starting goaltender, rather than signing Conklin. I hope I'm wrong, I don't see Mason being the guy. Also seen that Atlanta invited Legace to camp.:eek:

I think the Blues has a great team that can bring the cup to St. Louis. Hopefully I will get a couple sets of the company's tickets to go to a few games. The seats are great!

Last night on the way home me and my son were counting the # of our starters that didn't play last night we ended up around 10. Look at it this way too, the Lambs have been practicing for weeks first game no points with all of their starters. The Blues started training camp SATURDAY and are already playing. I know it's only pre season but without looking at the stats from last year I don't think we beat the Wild, so already a moral victory. There were a lot of people there also considering it was preseason and the stick and ball guys were down the street. That extra 1/2 hour earlier start doesn't hurt either. Got home before 11 last night. GO BLUESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here and so ready for the season to start. I think the Blues will have a great season. Hope we get the cup here in STL soon. I can't wait till Friday I'm going to my first preseason game!

GO BLUES!!!!!!!!!!
Do you bleed BLUE? I DO!!!!!!

Beat me to the punch.:D This is probably the most excited I've been for the Blues in 6 or 7 years. We need to play the Wings tough right off the bat to get things rolling. D.J. King already injured himself with either a thumb or a wrist depending on who you believe. Any of you guys going to fanfest Saturday?

I know I'll catch hell for this and I hope I'm wrong. But in looking at the schedule, I don't see them being much better than a .500 club for the month of October.

That's just one month not the whole season. Just remember that we didn't have a great start last season but we had a great finish.

Blues v.s. Redwings on Versus @ 2:00 (if you've got it). I'm stuck at work but I'll be able to watch some of it. The boys need to get off to a fast start and I'd at least like to see a split in Sweden. Look for Berglund and Steen to be amped up for these games (home boys). I'm so glad the season is finally here! LET'S GO BLUES!!!!!!!!!!

this is the most excited I've been for a Blues season since 2001 or 2002. the thing that ****s is that we play in the toughest conference in the league. Kariya said this is the best he's felt in years and we got everyone back minus King and Brewer. the only thing I'm shaky on is how Mason will look at the beginning of the year, but Ty Conklin is a very capable backup should anything go awry. Looks like Legace hasn't had a very good year so far either so I'm glad we got rid of him.
