Stacker 2 M.a.r.s. Super Late Models Lake Ozark Speedway Invasion On Tap

Batesville, Arkansas (August 9th, 2005) – The stars and cars of the Stacker 2 Mid America Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) will roll into Central Missouri this Saturday night for a showdown at Lake Ozark Speedway in Lake Ozark, Missouri.

With sixteen events in the books, 2004 Stacker 2 M.A.R.S. Champion, Terry Phillips (Missouri) leads the point standings for the first time this year. Jack Sullivan (Arkansas), Wendell Wallace (Arkansas), Jeff Floyd (Arkansas), and Justin Wells (Missouri) round out the current top five in series’ points and will all be looking to try and make up ground in the point’s chase this weekend. In addition, to being in the top five in points, Justin Wells continues to maintain a slim advantage over Dane Dacus in the Rookie of the Year standings. Other drivers expected to possibly be in attendance at this Saturday’s event include Steve Rushin, Joey Mack, Bill Frye, Jordan Jones, Dewaine Hottinger, Brandon McCormick, and many more Super Late Model Stars of the Midwest.

The Martians will storm into Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, August 13th for their only 2005 appearance at the 1/3 mile, clay oval. Gates open at 5:00 with hot laps at 6:30 and racing action at 7:00. Adult grandstand admission is $15 with kids 12 and under free. Lake Ozark Speedway is located off of Highway 54 at the Highway 52 exit. The track is located at the end of the frontage road on the south side of Highway 54.
