Inside Line Promotions - SELINSGROVE, Pa. (Sept. 17, 2018) - Mother Nature and misfortune have been cruel to Trey Starks recently.

"It's been a frustrating last couple of weeks," he said. "When we've been fast we've had an issue or a rainout. We haven't got to execute a night lately. We've had speed. It's a shame we haven't got to showcase it.

"We had a mechanical failure and a rainout two weeks ago. This weekend it was the other way around with a rainout and a mechanical failure. We just have to put this bad luck behind us. We have some big weekends and big races coming up. We have a lot of good racing left to do."

The Gobrecht Motorsports driver was strong throughout last Friday's event at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa. He qualified sixth quickest and placed second in a heat race before lining up eighth in the A Main. Unfortunately, rain washed out the race just after it was started.

Starks ran into bad luck the following night at Selinsgrove Speedway, which hosted an Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions race. Starks qualified 10th quickest overall and third in his group. He was running second - in a dash position - midway through the heat race when a mechanical problem sidelined the team for the remainder of the night.

This weekend presents a new challenge with four features in three nights. The action begins on Thursday at BAPS Motor Speedway in Newberrytown, Pa. Williams Grove Speedway will have the make-up feature that rained out from last Friday along with a full program this Friday before the weekend wraps up on Saturday at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., for the 5 th annual Dirt Classic.

"It's a good opportunity for some racing with four features coming up," Starks said. "That's a lot of racing to do in one weekend. We're up for it. Everyone has a positive attitude. If we do everything we're supposed to I think we'll have a successful weekend."
