Steve Francis Takes Sixth Win Of The Season In World Dirt League Racing Competition

(Ashland, KY) Steve Francis picked up his second win of the season in
the PolyDome Super Series, a World Dirt Racing League touring series at
Echo Valley Speedway in West Union, IA on August 19 in the Moring
Motorsports Rocket Chassis. Francis blistered the field by lapping all
but eight cars in the 50 lap event thus earning the Kentucky Colonel his
sixth overall victory of the 2003 season.

Steve and the Moring Motorsports combination has proved successful thus
far this season in the PolyDome Super Series, a World Dirt Racing League
touring series as Francis has rocketed for two wins with two top-5 and
four top-10 finishes in four events.

Francis will return to his home state of Kentucky in the M15 Mopar and
Valvoline sponsored Rocket Chassis Dodge Intrepid R/T this weekend for
the running of the unsanctioned $50,000 to win 21st annual North/South
100 at Florence Speedway. Francis last visit to the half mile high
banked speedplant of Florence Speedway produced a 2nd place finish in
Northern All-Stars sanctioned racing action. The Rocket Chassis house
car driver has produced numerous wins at Florence Speedway through his
twenty year career with his latest win coming in 2002 during the
Renegade DirtCar Series sanctioned contest. Steve also picked up
victories at Florence Speedway in 2001 and the 1999 Ironman 100, both
Xtreme DirtCar Series sanctioned wins.
