YES - THE RUMORS ARE TRUE - WWT RACEWAY AND TRI-CITY SPEEDWAY ARE GOING TO CREATE A TRUE STL AREA SPEEDWEEK!
Stay tuned race fans... We are going to be promoting a dirt race at Tri-City Speedway on Friday, June 3, 2022 as a lead in to the first ever NASCAR Cup Weekend in St. Louis! "The #CUPTIMESTL ShortTrackClassic." We are teaming up with Kevin Gundaker and Tammy Gundaker to do something truly special. More details to follow as we are nailing down things with sanctioning bodies. Tammy is already figuring out ways to sell a ton of concessions that night. It will be epic. Advance tickets will go on sale in conjunction with WWT Raceway's NASCAR Cup and Truck Series events through the WWT Raceway ticket office and MetroTix.
Tri-City is a beautiful venue with a great racing surface that is located 7 miles from WWT Raceway.
We are getting the word out now so people can plan for a full weekend of racing in the St. Louis area. (And Tammy and Kevin may have some other race week surprises in store).
PLUS! - We will have a Fan Fest in downtown St. Louis with lots and lots of race cars... including some of the best dirt racers in America along with lots of NASCAR activation.
