I created a Yahoo fantasy racing league specifically for the users of this board. We banter with each other all the time. Now let's compete with each other a bit. :D

Sounds very interesting, but can you post some more info for those of us who dont know how to play.

For each race you pick 8 drivers. 2from the A list (Elite), 4 from the B list (middle of the road), and 2 from the C list (usually unproven rookies or washed up old guys and road course ringers). After qualifying you would then pick your active drivers amongst the 8 you picked. You'd get 1 of the 2 A listers, 2 of the 4 B listers and 1 of the 2 C listers. Points are determined by finishing position and laps completed. Bonus points are given for qualify in the top 4, leading a lap, and leading the most laps.

You can pick a driver up to 9 times in a year. It really is a fun set up.

Most importantly there is a message board so we can talk trash to each other :D

You have to go through the process to sign up. Once you have signed up and given yourself a team name, you can then join a GROUP. Select Private Group and then that is where you type in 726 and the stlracing password.

pretty much that's it.

Once it gets started, you have to keep up with it each week. You can only have a certain driver for so many races. You can't leave the same ones chosen for every week. You have to pick and choose which ones to use at each race.
 
After day 1

We already have nine members participating. Keep it coming. I don't think that there is a cap on how many members the group can have.

By the way, it's free to play. The winner gets ultimate bragging rights. To win this league among some of the most knowledgable racing fans in the Midwest will be a real accomplishment. I imagine this league will be extremely competitive all season long.

Now up to 14 members. Ladies, you can play too. So far, you are represented proudly by 2 of the 14 members.
 
We're now up to 19 members in the league. Thanks to everyone who has joined. I hope many more join before Daytona :)
