CARTERSVILLE, GA – Eight drivers adding to their win tallies, and three drivers picking up their first wins of the season highlighted Week 11 of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series. Frank Wilson of Milton, FL won twice over the weekend to extend his lead in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region.

Wilson went through the competition like a buzz saw, which is appropriate due to the saw blade decal on the side of his race car, by winning on Friday night at Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman, FL, and on Saturday night at Butler County Motorsports Park in Greenville, AL. The victories were the third and fourth of the season for Wilson, who has netted 654 points in 18 starts.

The next three drivers in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region point standings each have 13 starts. Bobby Morrison of Milton, FL has 519 points in second place, and another member of the “Milton Mafia,” Scott Sessions of Milton, FL has 482 points in the third spot. Dewayne Morris of River Falls, AL is fourth with 413 points.

Richard Guidry of Port Allen, LA is in the fifth spot with 394 points in 10 starts, and Josh Huss of Flomaton, AL is sixth with 386 points in nine starts. Donald Watson of Greenwell Springs, LA is seventh with 368 points in nine starts.

Jerry Bevis of Zachary, LA was the winner on Friday night at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA, and is eighth in the StormPay.com WRS South Region with 349 points in nine starts. Kevin Watts of Denham Springs, LA is ninth with 344 points in nine starts, and Chris Coggin of Orange Beach, AL rounds out the top ten with 324 points in eight starts.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region action over the weekend, Randy Little of Satsuma, AL was a first-time winner this season on Saturday night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, AL. A1 Raceway in Slidell, LA was rained out on Saturday night.

Another significant headline in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series came in the West Region, as the defending West Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS was a proud papa when his 19-year-old son Brandon Keeton won his first-ever dirt late model victory on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

Dad finished third, and one has to wonder whom wife, mom, and car owner Charlotte Keeton was cheering for?

Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS reached the 16-start mark in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region, and leads with 619 points. Lucky Keeton is second with 484 points in 10 starts. Dallas Mozingo of Laurel, MS is third with 360 points in nine starts, and Larry Murphy of Meridian, MS finished second at WMP to move up to the fourth spot with 314 points in seven starts.

Owen Stockstill of Columbia, MS moved back into the fifth spot with 305 points in eight starts, and Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL is sixth with 302 points in seven starts. Mark Tice of Hollandale, MS is tied with Jay Blair of Angie, LA for the seventh position, each with 299 points. Tice has eight starts, and Blair has seven starts.

Roger Rollison of Meridian, MS is ninth in the StormPay.com WRS West Region with 269 points in seven starts, and Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS rounds out the top ten with 258 points in seven starts.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action over the weekend, Jamie Pickard of Columbus, MS bested a 20-car field on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS for his second StormPay.com WRS win of the season. Tracy Brown was a first-time winner on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. Marcus Frisch took his second win of the season on Saturday night at Monticello Speedway in Monticello, AR.

The big headline in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region had the defending StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Champion David Gentry of Lewisburg, TN ending the four-race win streak of Shane Roberts of Blountville, TN with a win on Tuesday night at 411 Motor Speedway in Knoxville, TN.

Gentry used the 411 Motor Speedway race as a tune-up for the 40-lap $2,500-to-win StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Touring event there on July 3. StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region action at 411 Motor Speedway moves to Saturday nights beginning this Saturday.

This could fill a Saturday night void for competitors at StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region track North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA, which will move to Friday night racing this Friday night. Now the StormPay.com WRS East Region drivers can race on Friday nights at North Georgia Speedway, and also Saturday nights at 411 Motor Speedway.

Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL was another driver that reached the 16-start mark over the weekend, and leads the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region with 636 points. Logan Yates of Delta, AL picked up his WRS leading sixth win of the season on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. Yates is second in the East Region with 440 points in nine starts.

Parrish Duncan of Newnan, GA is third in the StormPay.com WRS East Region with 400 points in 10 starts, and Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA posted his fourth win of the season on Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL. Wallace is fourth in points with 377 points in 10 starts. Adam Martin of Talladega, AL is fifth with 375 points in nine starts.

Corey Korreckt of Lincoln, AL is sixth with 339 points in nine starts, and Curtis Cline of Douglasville, GA is seventh with 335 points in nine starts. Dustin Stewart of Eastaboga, AL moved into the top ten in the eighth spot with 331 points in nine starts. Keith Freeman of Commerce, GA is ninth with 302 points in eight starts.

Darel Ownbey of Dalton, GA rounds out the top ten in the StormPay.com WRS East Region with 276 points in six starts. Ownbey should be looking forward to the Friday nights at North Georgia Speedway, and the Saturday nights at 411 Motor Speedway to pick up points on two nights.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region action over the weekend, Ty Lowe of Commerce, GA scored his second StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series win of the season on Saturday night at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA.
