Glasgow, KY-June 29, 2014- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will return to action with the first of two events in the month of July as the tour will visit Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, KY on Saturday July 12, with the event being headlined by a 40 lap, $5,000 to win A-Main that will pay $250 to start.

The trip for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series to Western Kentucky Speedway will be the tour’s first-ever visit this track, with the winner taking home $5,000 for their efforts. The tour is also scheduled to make a second visit to Western Kentucky Speedway in September, with that event also set to pay $5,000 to win.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will compete for the first time ever at Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, KY on Saturday July 12. The event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and a 40 lap, $5,000 to win/$250 to start A-Main contest. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Western Kentucky Speedway on Saturday July 12 will be track’s Super Street, Cruiser, Rusty Bolt, UMP Mini Stock, Bomber, and Pure Street divisions.

Activities for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series event at Western Kentucky Speedway on Saturday July 12 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m., with registration and technical inspection from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 6:00, with practice starting immediately following the drivers meeting, followed by time trials and green flag racing. All times listed are Central Time. Ticket prices for the event at Western Kentucky Speedway in the general admission area will be $15 for adults (children ages 10 and under are free), while a pit pass will be $30.

Also, bring the children out and let them register to win a FREE bicycle courtesy of Tennessee RV Sales and Service and also pick up a FREE coloring book featuring drivers of the tour, both free of charge.
