Belleville, IL – Sunday, July 26th racing will resume at the historic Belle-Clair Speedway headlined by the Midwest Big 10 Late Model Series in conjunction with the Kettler & Son’s UMP Late Models. UMP Modifieds, B-Modifieds, Belleville Automotive Pure Stocks, and BOSS Micros will also be in attendance.
In UMP Modified action, Brett Korves took the April, 17th Fan Appreciation event, while Jimmy Cummins won the B-Mod feature. Mike Harrison won the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals event at the high-banked 1/5th mile on June 24th, while Rusty Griffaw won the UMP Modified portion and Nathan Schmitt took the B-Mod portion, for the “Battle at Belle-Vegas III” on Sunday, July 12th. Daryn Klein won the “Klein 28” on April 24th, the most recent running of Kettler & Son’s UMP Late Models at the famous fifth-mile, while Darrell Moser took the season opener on April 10th. Bobby Pierce claimed the DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory on June 24th. In the Midwest Big 10 Series, Brian Dively leads Chuck Mitchell by 36 points (210 to 174) heading into this weekend. Ryan Little holds third with 150 points.
