I understand your frustration, and thankfully it wasn't my dog in the fight this time. I saw the entire incident (happend literally 3 ft from where I was standing in turn 4) and IMO Frankie was sitting sideways long enough with the entire field bearing down to leave no option but to throw the yellow. I've never seen the 360 scenario you described happen at belleville, but I have seen sprint cars do it.

It was the right call. If there were no cars coming and he does the 360 then no caution is thrown. They had to throw it there were cars everywhere.

Thank you for the reply kingeddy, I appreciate your honesty. But, the question remains, who does the yellow go for and what car or cars go to the back of the field??? The person who does the spinning or the person who got spun or both?? I've seen all 3 scenarios and it gets frustrating when the Official's calls are inconsistent and biased. Shoulders get shrugged and officials say they didn't see it, but isn't that their job to watch their corner??? Just sayin.....

I'm sure the call was....caution on 25 and put the 30 to the back for causing the spin.

In my opinion it was hard racing and nothing was deliberate. Tough break for both drivers.

I totally agree...tough break for both drivers, and I am pretty sure that the spin was NOT on purpose, but the question remains......consistency of the Official's calls. KingEddy hit the nail on the head already stating it happened to them the 1st race of this year in the Shamrock 40 that only 1 car was put to the back and that it happened to them multiple times last year when their car got spun out. I'm still fairly young and my memory is pretty good, so I don't forget too many things about racing....especially when it involves the Late Models. All that I am asking 4 is consistency in the Official's calls and what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong. You can't change the rules or how you make the calls mid-season and say that it is OKAY????

I guess it's just a judgement call on whether the guy has enough time to do the 360 before cars are coming, a judgement call on whether the guy that caused the spin should go to back. And each time the result may be different. I understand where you're coming from. There's probably not a good answer.

For as long as I can remember (at Belleville), Allied has always put the car that spins/causes the caution to the rear. "IF" the official sees contact from behind that causes the spin, that car goes to the rear also. I feel Allied has been pretty consistant with it. I've been thinking hard about it, and I really can't recall the last time I heard or saw anyone get their spot back after they spun. (I know we never have) But I'm getting old and forgetful, maybe someone can refresh my memory.

I do feel there is a problem with the placement of officials at Belleville.

There is a flagman at the start/finish line, one official in turn one, one official in turn two. There used to be an official on the back stretch (near the port-a-potty) but I don't recall seing him there this year, and there is ONE official watching turns 3 and 4.

Why is there only one official watching 3 &4??????????? Ralph is not a bad guy, and yes, I have cussed at, called him a blind jackazz, and apologized to him on more than one ocassion. One official cannot see everything happening in two turns. They need more eyes on the track. Ralph cannot see out of turn 4 (he stands with his back to it most of the time) and the flagman cannot see into it because of the scoring tower.

They need to fix this.

I love this. Someone complaining about a yellow flag coming out for a 360 spin. I guess you can complain if you sponsor the event.

I'm not saying there is any truth to it, but I think everyone wants to know if the rumor is true. Was the sponsorship money pulled because of this call?

Kreke 13.....were U even there and was your car there??? I think NOT Al Kreke!!!
The Dambacher Trucking 40 was the idea of BCP Don Hoener and my dad Rich Dambacher was approached by Don Hoener to have this "Special Late Model Race" and it was even published in the Belleville News Democrat before Don even talked to Rich about the special race.
Rich Dambacher had nothing to do with the $1,500 pay out, so if there was a problem with the payout then you need to talk to ALLIED and NOT believe every rumor you people hear. I believe I read in the rules that Allied has the last word to change the payout based on fan attendance or for whatever reason they deem necessary to change the advertised pay-out and you the racers can do NOTHING about it except complain which you will do anyway...lol.
The conversation with Mrs. Hoener was enabled by Mrs. Hoener as Rich asked to speak with Don Hoener and he was busy in a meeting and Mrs. Hoener stated, "you want to speak to my husband, well you can speak to me because I am his wife." end quote. If she would have only said...my husband is in a meeting, you will have to wait to speak with him, there would have not been this "chewing out" you all are talking about.

Kreke 13.....Al Kreke

Not once did I mention the word favoritism in my post....open your eyes. All that we are stating is that consistency of the race calls would be appreciated that's all. Everyone likes to see racing with a fair call made on the track. But, I have been in attendance long enough to WITNESS right before my eyes calls that were made in the corner that 2 cars spin and ONLY one car is put to the back!!!! So, what gives.....where is the consistency??? What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong.
I recall King Kong Korte running into the back of a car Michael Kloos I believe and spinning out that car and King Kong Korte went to the back only and the car that spun Michael Kloos got his spot back???? But, the racer can feel if the car behind him gave him a little love tap going into the corner or really rammed him going into the corner and took him out. So, I was not in the car that spun, so I don't know what it felt like....was it a little love tap or was it a bigger tap to take you out and spin you around????? Yes, I realize it is a judgement call and they are hard decisions to make, but be consistent in your calls!!! That's all I am saying.......

I didn't say there was a problem with the payout. We were paid in full. In fact I believe it was an increased payout. I was merely asking if your dad pulled his sponsor money, as is being rumored.

Awe....too bad Al Kreke....you missed a good night of racing....guess U were at that other track Voigt goes to Tri-City?
Nope, I don't think you can be in a business ownership as long as my dad has been owning and operating Dambacher Trucking and Landscape Materials since 1942 when his own father ran the business. We have people come from all over the area to get landscaping material. I think his business skills are a little more professional than pulling sponsorship money from a track, from a race, or anything else for that matter.
But, you do NOT have to renew or sponsor something you do NOT believe in next race season. That is where the professionalism of owning a business and making business decisions comes in to play. Yes, I agree some things were said and done, that should have NEVER happened, but that is water under the bridge now for all parties involved.
The sponshorship with the sign at the track in Turn #2 will still be there, the sponsorship of Jr. Fan Club will still be there this current race season for 2013. I can not speak for next race season in 2014. Have to evaluate the Pro's and Con's of doing advertising.

To even insinuate that you would consider pulling a sponsorship over one bad call is not only poor sportsmanship but shows a complete lack of integrity... I know for a fact there are people that have invested a great deal into Belle-Clair Speedway and those people would never expect special treatment and would never consider getting on a message board and ripping the powers that be for a call that went against them. The mere fact that you would do this when the driver you sponsor was involved in a race you sponsor is troubling. It makes you look petty. And just for the record I was there... I was standing in turn 4... saw the whole thing and think Ralph made the right call...

Everyone has been on the bad end of a call that races there if they have been there long enough it happens at every track if not name a track that is perfect,I havent been to one yet!

Extreme Race Cars.........You have NO IDEA what that post was ALL ABOUT????
People were asking if the sponsorship money was going to be pulled or the purse was altered due to the name of Dambacher Trucking being the 40 lap race.
I feel the need to defend the so called rumors that are circulating regarding the events that occurred the evening of the 26th. If you have been involved in racing at all, you have been caught in the heat of the moment and have said or done things that you wished you could have taken back. My father felt the need to state his feelings and opinion regarding how he felt regarding the calls the OFFICIALS make on the track. The call made on the 26th during the feature was just the last nail in the coffin and my father is completely done with Belle-Clair Speedway. This year's sponsorship money for the track sign and for the Jr. Fan Club has already been paid and my dad LOVES to help support the sport of racing!!! But, the shit has hit the fan for the final time and my father will be attending more races at Highland Speedway as of now. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and everyone has one. If you don't like it, don't read this post. I'm sure you are too perfect Mr. Extreme Race Car to have ever said anything or done anything in the heat of the moment. My father will NOT be going back to Belle-Clair Speedway, so he felt the need to voice his thoughts on here!!! Like it or hate it I don't really care, cuz lots of people have posted on here about their thoughts and feelings regarding Allied including Tommy Smallwood, "the Weatherman" and at least these people have the balls to state what is on their minds and move forward.

Tracy, I've been around racing for along time and had more than a few "heated" moments. I never claimed to be perfect but I've never said anything I didn't mean. Dambacher Trucking was the sponsor of this race... Dambacher Trucking is a sponsor of Frankie Martin. Whether you like it or not your father and your driver should be held to a higher standard. The call was made... move on. I stand by my statement. You can take it how ever you want it's just my opinion.
